September 2009 Students of the Month

Mary Nguyen, Daughter of Tony and Yen  Nyugen and Haley Kessinger daughter of Mark and Carol McClure are the Owatonna Rotary Club's Students of the Month for September.

Sierra Vick is the Rotary Club's Top Team Student of the Month.

All three students are seniors at Owatonna High School.

Nyugen is a member of the Varsity Choir and Concert Choir at Owatonna HIgh School and is a member of the Link Crew.  She has also been active at church as a piano accompianist, lector, cantor and prayer leader.

Kessinger is a member of the Carolers, Concert Choir, Tennis team and Theater.  She has also been a part of the Speech team and National Honor Society.  In the Owatonna Community she has volunteered at SAC, Little Theatre and performed musically at the Brooks.  She has been active at her church as a song leader and Vacation Bible School leader. 

All three students attended weekly Rotary Club Luncheons at the Owatonna Country Club and received special recognition at the September 28th lucheon. 

The Owatonna Rotary Club meets Mondays at 12:10 PM at the Owatonna Country Club.
