Boubin is a member of the OHS chapter of the National Honor Society.   She is a four year member of the girls swimming team and is also a four year speech team member, serving this year as captain.  She sings in the concert choir and participates in Peer Helpers.  She volunteers at Cedarview Care Center and is a Big Sister.  At Sacred Heart Catholic Church, she has server as a reader and cantor and has taken part in Scripture study.  She is currently employed at Cedarview.

For college, Boubin is considering Creighton University, Notre Dame, and Washington University (St. Louis), most likely enrolling in a pre-med curriculum.

Cochlin is a five year member of the girls soccer team and a six year member of the girls track team, serving as captain of both teams.  She was class president for three years and has served four years on the Student Council, where she is now president.  She is vice-president of the Minnesota Association of Student Councils.  She works on the OHS yearbook, is a Peer Helper, and participates in Young Life.  She has also assisted in athletic training at the high school. At St, Joseph’s Catholic Church, she has taken part in several Bible study programs.

For college, Cochlin plans to enroll at the University of Wisconsin—Madison, where she has a soccer scholarship.  Her intended major is kinesiology/athletic training.

Jones is a National Honor Society member.  She participates in Pep Band, Marching Band, and Concert Band.  She is a member of Link Crew and the girls JV tennis team.  In addition, she plays flute in the Owatonna Community Band.  At St. Joseph’s Church, she teaches in the Religious Education Program and has taken part in CYO retreats.  She currently works at Washington Elementary School, assisting with a third grade class.

For college, Jones plans to attend the University of Wisconsin—Eau Claire, majoring in secondary education.

All three students attend Rotary Club luncheons at the Holiday Inn and will receive special recognition at the Dec. 17 meeting.
