April Students of the Month 2008

OWATONNA—Kasey Dingmann, daughter of Judd and Kim Dingmann, and Erica Levine, daughter of Greg and Marlene Levine, are the Owatonna Rotary Club’s Students of the Month for April.
Billy Goodsell, son of Willie and Victoria Goodsell, is the Rotary Club’s Top Team Student for April.
All three students are seniors at Owatonna High School.
Dingmann is a three-year member of the OHS girls tennis team and a two-year member of the Concert Choir. She has sung with the Carolers and worked on the Prom Committee. She has participated in the Destination Imagination problem solving competition and taken part in Relay for Life. At Trinity Lutheran Church, she has been a Peer Minister and has sung in Shine, the high school choir. She is employed at Life Style, Inc.
For college, Dingmann intends to attend the University of Minnesota—Minneapolis.
Levine has played girls tennis for four years. She is a member of the OHS chapter of the National Honor Society. She has participated in Mock Trial for four years and has been co-captain for two years. She has been a member of Link Crew, SHOC, the Homecoming Committee, and the high school carnival and has taken part in the One Act Festival. She has been a volunteer worker at the Steele County Clothesline. She is currently employed at Subway and The Gap.
For college, Levine will attend the University of St. Thomas, majoring in biology or biochemistry.
At OHS, Goodsell has played JV football, basketball, and tennis. He has been a member of Link Crew and has volunteered for parade crew cleanups. He is concurrently enrolled at OHS and Riverland College. He is employed at Willie’s Painting. For higher education, he will continue at Riverland and then transfer to the University of Minnesota—Mankato, studying toward a career in dentistry.
All three students attend Rotary Club luncheons at the Owatonna Country Club and will receive special recognition at the April 28 meeting.
